*What To Bring To Hersheypark And Other Reminders*
Clothing:
Shirts, shorts/pants and shoes must be worn at all times while at Hershey Park.
Proper swimming attire for Boardwalk at Hersheypark is defined as one-or-two piece swimsuits without abrasive buttons, rivets, zippers or snaps. Swimsuits should cover you appropriately.
We recommend that you consider the following:
Wear: Comfortable well-cushioned walking shoes (sneakers would be best) and clothes with pockets so you don’t lose items on rides.
Bring: Appropriate swimwear, a towel, & water shoes or flip flops, a dry change of clothes (especially socks)/warmer or cooler clothes for different parts of the day; only a standard/regular size backpack (others do not fit in lockers), something to secure your glasses when riding roller coasters, sunblock, hat, etc...
Lockers:
Lockers are available on a first-come-first-serve basis and are located inside the park entrance, and other locations throughout the park. They are rented by the day and credit cards are accepted.
Other Items to Bring:
Hersheypark is now cashless and accepts all major credit cards, debit cards and Hersheypark gift cards, as well as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay. For guests who may not have credit or debit cards, they can convert cash to prepaid debit cards at the Cash to Card Kiosks stationed around the park. There is no fee to load cash onto a card at these kiosks. Please check the app for locations. For games, you will need to purchase a separate Gaming Card at gaming locations, which you can load via cashless payment. In place of cash, consider purchasing an e-gift card before your Park visit.
Personal food/drinks are NOT allowed in the park.
If you bring personal electronics, they are your responsibility on the bus and at the park. You may not leave anything on the bus.
Details:
You will ride on the bus with your chaperone.
You need to be with a group at all times.
Your chaperone and group will need to check in @ 1:30 PM at the Carousel in Founder’s Way. The second and final check-in time is @ 4:00 PM at the Carousel immediately prior to leaving for the day. Once everyone is accounted for, we will proceed to the buses.
Buses are scheduled to leave promptly at 4:30 PM. Do not be the reason we’re late!
Please remember to behave appropriately. Students who cannot behave appropriately will spend the day with Mr. Drago, or will be picked up at the park by their parents.
Back to School:
Parents should arrive for pick up at 6:15 PM.
Arrival time @LCMS is 6:30 pm.
Must have your own ride home.

End of Year Events
With just two months remaining, a number of things will happen....and fast! Click the link below to keep track of some of our larger events as we enter the final quarter of the school year.
Innovation and Exploration Class
Creative problem solvers in the Grade 6 digital literacy course, Innovations & Explorations, collaborated to build functional tools using cardboard. Afterwards, they produced digital media, MP4, commercials to promote their inventions. More importantly, throughout the 12-class work time, students practiced the art of cooperation and collaboration, important workforce, lifetime skills, as well as Future Ready presentation and communication standards. We are proud of what these scholars have accomplished, now enjoy the shows!
Additionally, a big thanks is extended to all of the LCMS families who donated cardboard for this special endeavor. We couldn’t have done it without your generosity!
Track and Field Championships
Select athletes from Log’s track team competed in the Bucks County League Championship on Tuesday, May 27th. Specific athletes from Log were chosen based on their speed and ability to perform in several track and field events. Chase Dudley received a 3rd place medal in the 100m sprint. Zaakirah Bell received a 3rd place medal in the women’s shot put. Gavin Tumutly received a 1st place medal for the men's high jump jumping at a height of 5 '5". Janelle Rappo received a 2nd place medal in the women’s 55m hurdles. Devon McDonald received a 3rd place running in the 200m dash (brand new event to her this year), and a 2nd place medal in the 400m sprint. Log’s coaches are proud to have worked with the 2 fastest girls in Bucks County! Devon MacDonald, the reigning champ taking home a gold medal in the 100 meter sprint and Janelle Rappo taking the silver. The margin between 1st and second place in this event was .02 of a second!
Despite not taking home the overall trophy, all Log’s athletes performed their best races of the season.
The coaches are very proud of the team for their commitment to bettering themselves as teammates and athletes!
Masonic Village Performance
On Wednesday, May 28th, musicians from the Log College Singers and the Log College Jazz Band performed tunes for the residents of the Masonic Village at Warminster nursing home. The residents were tapping their toes and were delighted by the students' performances!
8th Grade Panther Games
LCMS and KMS students met for the 4th annual Panther Games, a field day event where the two schools come together. It is a spirited competition and also an introduction for future classmates before entering high school. The black team was this year's winner.
Chief Science Officer
On Thursday, May 29, the Centennial School District Chief Science Officers (CSO’s) attended an end of year meeting at the Franklin Institute. The meeting began with a getting to know you activity where the CSO’s had the opportunity to interact with other CSO’s from Pennsylvania. Following this, a panel from the Franklin Institute presented to the CSO’s about their experiences in STEM. The meeting ended with the CSO’s presenting their action plans and sharing the outcomes and their reflections on how their plan went this school year. This year the Centennial CSO’s planned and implemented their first “Women in STEM Career Panel” at William Tennent High School where women in fields from biotechnology to medicine shared their experiences with students. After their presentation, the Centennial School District CSO’s were honored by receiving the “Outstanding Action Plan” Award from the Philadelphia Cabinet.
Personal Finance Class
Living On Your Own is not easy! The 8th-grade students completed a simulation that gave them the opportunity to demonstrate that they could survive in the real world. They had to make decisions such as where to live, what kind of apartment to rent, transportation, insurance, and banking. As they lived day-to-day, they had to complete tasks such as paying bills, filling their gas tank, and going grocery shopping.
As we conclude the 2024-2025 school year, Mrs. Cornish's class also had the opportunity to form groups and use the Game of Life to simulate personal finance decisions. Students applied their knowledge of topics such as salaries, budgeting, the cost of living (including expenses for children), debt, and insurance. Although students could appreciate the hard work that goes into managing a family budget, they also had fun!
Log College Softball
The 2025 Girls Softball team just completed their season, and although it was a season full of rainouts and difficult weather, this team always gave their best effort! The girls were only able to play five games this season, but the team put up solid performances in each! Our standout pitcher, Hayleigh Cohen, who recorded double digit strike outs in multiple games had an outstanding season! Eighth graders Kyleigh Stitch, Sofia Rudnitsky, and Alyssa Sulpuzio were also great leaders who contributed defensively. While we are always sad to send our 8th graders to high school, our 7th graders will provide a nice core for the team next year. Coaches Mr. Boyle and Mrs. Crognale would like to thank the team for all their hard work, and the parents for all their support this season!
