This meme struck a cord in my heart so I had to share. A week or so ago, I reached out to a former high school student to see how he was doing. He shared that 14 years later, he still thinks of me and wonders where he would be had it not been for my influence ( or my refusal to give up on him). We are making an impact on even the youngest kids and they will remember how you made them feel loved and supported. They will remember the safety and the connections to their school. Thank you for your part in making Fairfield a place where families can feel the positivity, the passion and the connections.

February 18th PD will follow this plan:

• Teachers meet in TBTS/Depts

• Reflect on November Implementation Plan and share success, challenges and next steps.

• Teachers meet in TBTS. Grade level leads will lead the reflection from Innovation Day (instructional coaches will be available as thought partners)

• Reflect on Innovation Day Session Learnings - Reflective Questions (tailored to Innovation Day) to act as conversation starters will be provided.

• Teachers will create an implementation plan connected to the new learning to share with administrators (Share with your evaluator).

• Option 1: Teacher Created Template: Implementation Plan that includes the following:

• Summary of new learning

• Key Take aways

• Implementation Focus

• Specific Strategies/Tool or Practice that will be implemented

• Action Steps

• Adult & Student Measures

• Timeline for Implementation

• Option 2: District created Template with the same components

• Once the Implementation Plan has been submitted, teachers are then able to utilize the remaining time to complete their additional professional responsibilities.
