Tyson has provided over $18k in training to Springdale CTE teachers in conjunction with Haas Phillips Corporation. The training is hosted on the DTSOI campus and the Tyson Manufacturing & Automation Center (TMAC) allowing teachers to learn locally. Teachers have learned Haas CNC programming, Variable Frequency Drives, and FANUC programming.

CTE teachers from DTSOI, HBHS, and SHS transfer their knowledge to students who gain access to jobs with above-average wages at Chandler Equipment, Multi-Craft Contractors, Marrs Electric, Tyson Foods, and other local industries.

The Springdale School District is very thankful for the opportunities provided to CTE teachers by Mr. Rodney Ellis, Tyson Foods Inc., and Mr. Carey Beavers, VP Haas Phillips Corporation. Their support and collaboration are greatly valued by our students and teachers.
