We kindly ask that during these testing windows students limit their screen times, do not stay up late, and eat a healthy breakfast.

March is Reading Month (MIRM): Thank you to our wonderful staff and PTO that worked hard to provide an excellent March is Reading Month for our kids. A special shout out to Ms. Antonelli, Mrs. Raymo, and Mrs. Van Hecke for leading the charge.

Sincerely,

Mr. Zimmer

And the winner is...

Rvierstone (Blue) House! It was very close, but they earned more dragon scales than the other houses for displaying the most acts of Teamwork in the month of March. Each member of the Blue House will get a SCR Positive Behavior lawn sign to display in front of their house for the month of April. These signs, along with the stakes, will be going home with them on Friday, March 27th. These signs and stakes will be reused for next month's winners so it is very important that your students return their sign on Tuesday, April 28th so it can be passed on to the next winning house. A reminder not will go home with them on Monday, April 27th.

Please remember that we are a Nut-Restricted School. We know that peanut butter and jelly is a popular item for young kids, but we cannot put some of our kids at risk. A healthy and delicious alternative is SunButter.

ABSENCE PROCEDURE

If your child is absent from school due to illness or other reasons, you must notify our attendance line at

(810) 676-1826 (24 hour hotline) by 9:30 a.m. All absences must be called in with the reason for the absence.

Absences are verified by the office each morning.

EARLY DISMISSAL PROCEDURE

Parents will be notified in advance if any early dismissal is scheduled. If early dismissal is required due to weather conditions or emergency situations, every effort will be made to notify parents. Please keep emergency phone numbers on your child’s emergency card current.

Please note that there will be no early dismissals after times listed below.

This allows for a smooth and orderly dismissal for all classes:

Full day – 3:15, Half Day – 11:45

It is increasingly difficult for the safety of all students if this policy is not followed.
