Important Policy Reminder: Personal Devices Not Allowed at School

Dear Parents and Students,

This is a critical reminder regarding our school's policy on personal electronic devices.

In compliance with Missouri's new law (Senate Bill 68, effective 2025-2026), all public schools are required to implement policies banning student cell phone and personal device use during school hours.

  • Only school-issued Chromebooks are permitted for student use during the school day.

  • Personal devices are strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Personal computers (laptops)

    • iPads or personal tablets

    • Personal cell phones (must be kept off and out of sight from bell to bell)

    • Gaming systems (e.g., Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, etc.)

Students who are found using or possessing unauthorized personal devices during school hours will be written up.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a focused, secure, and legally compliant learning environment. Please review this policy with your student.

Sincerely,

Liberty High School Administration
