We are so excited to welcome our Wildcat family back! Our team is ready to partner with you to make this a year full of learning, growth, and joy for every child.

🚪 Doors Open: 7:15 AM (Free breakfast in the cafeteria until 7:40 AM)
📚 School Day Begins: 7:45 AM
🚗 Dismissal/Pick-Up: 3:10 PM and on Wednesdays at 1:50PM

Visitor & Drop-Off Procedures

For the safety of all Wildcats, all visitors must check in at the front office and present a driver’s license or state-issued ID to receive a Visitor’s Badge. This applies any time you are on campus.

🚪 Doors open at 7:15 a.m. Please do not drop students off before this time, as there is no supervision.

⏰ School begins at 7:45 a.m. If you arrive at 7:46 or later, please park and check your child in at the office so they can be marked tardy.

🚗 Morning drop-off: All students will be dropped off through the car line to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently. If you would like to meet with your child’s teacher or an administrator, please call the office to schedule a meeting.

🚪 When arriving to check your child in or out:

⏰ Early check-out ends at 2:40 PM (Mon–Tue–Thu–Fri) and 1:30 PM on Wednesdays.

If you did NOT enroll, or reenroll, for Walker thru Powerschool this summer, you will need to fill out this Google form for each of your children. It is the Springdale Schools Acceptable Use Agreement for Technology. All students must have a signed AUA in order to use their Chromebook or any technology at school. Please call the office if you do not know your child's Student ID number. Thank you!

I am overjoyed to be your child's school counselor! My number one priority is to help ensure every child feels safe, loved, supported, and ready to learn each day. My job is to listen, encourage, and help each student navigate the challenges that come with growing and learning, in an effort to prepare them for life beyond their years at Walker Elementary.

Our school counseling program supports students in a variety of ways, including:

• Classroom lessons that focus on social-emotional skills, problem-solving, coping skills, and life skills for personal growth.
• Small groups designed to provide additional support around specific needs or experiences.
• Individual counseling for students who may need more personalized support.

I believe that supporting a child is a team effort, and I look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year. Be on the lookout for information coming home in your child's Friday folder about the "Big Ideas" we plan to focus on this year through the school counseling program.
