Alpha Academy Application Due - Oct. 7
The Omicron Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is excited to announce that applications and referrals are now open for the 2026–2027 Alpha Academy.
Alpha Academy is a long-term mentoring and leadership development program designed to help high school young men grow through mentorship, academic support, leadership development, college and career preparation, community service, and life-skills development. Students have the opportunity to progress through the program throughout high school, culminating in the Alpha Beautillion and scholarship opportunities for eligible program completers.
This year, we are introducing two pathways for admission:
- 9th Grade | Open Application
- Ninth grade will serve as the primary entry point into Alpha Academy. Interested ninth-grade students and their families may apply directly to the program.
- Grades 10–12 | School Referral & Application
- Students in grades 10–12 may be considered through a referral from a school counselor, teacher, or administrator. Following the referral, the student and parent/guardian will complete an application confirming their interest and commitment to the program. Upperclassman admission will be based on program capacity. If you are seeking a referral please reach out to your child's school counselor or administrator.
- The 2026–2027 Alpha Academy Program Guide is linked here for additional information about the program, grade-level experiences, expectations, and opportunities.
