Their faith, commitment, and obedience continue to shape lives and strengthen this ministry. This past Sunday, Youth Pastor Dr. Sonny Kelly delivered an encouraging and thought-provoking lesson entitled “It’s Time for Your Spiritual Checkup!”

Dr. Kelly shared three important objectives to help us maintain our spiritual health:

1. Learn God’s specific Prescription for Your Spiritual Health — TAKE YOUR MEDICINE!

2. Learn God's specific prohibitions & warnings. WASH YOUR HANDS!

3. Equip you to assist other believers in Spiritual Health crisis. LEARN CPR!

Our Call to Action

Dr. Kelly challenged us to put the lesson into practice:

• TAKE YOUR MEDICINE! Start loving others on purpose. Make a conscious decision every day to demonstrate God’s love.
• WASH YOUR HANDS! Identify one bad influence or unhealthy habit and replace it with something that strengthens your spiritual walk.
• LEARN CPR! Be willing to address an unpopular issue when necessary, offering godly encouragement and support to someone experiencing a spiritual struggle.

The Youth Takeover was an amazing move of God from start to finish! What a powerful time in His presence!

Watch the video clips to see how it all began—with Bishop Godbolt sounding the shofar horn to signal the start of prayer, followed by Deaconess Alokpa leading us in prayer. From there, the youth took over with greetings, Scripture readings, and a powerful praise service that set the atmosphere on fire!

Our youth showed up, stepped up, and allowed God to have His way! We are grateful for their participation, their passion, and their willingness to serve the Lord.

God is moving in the next generation, and we are excited to see what He will do next!

A special shout-out to Deaconess Joy Mitchell for the amazing joy she is doing with our youth choir! These young people truly lifted their voices in praise and worship, helping make our Youth Takeover an unforgettable experience. Their oral reading was also outstanding, demonstrating confidence, preparation, and a willingness to use their gifts to glorify God!.

Our youth are on fire for God, and it is a blessing to see them using their gifts and talents to glorify His name!

October is Clergy Appreciation Month, and each Sunday, we are honored to spotlight and celebrate the dedicated clergy who faithfully serve our church and the body of Christ.

This week, we celebrated Elder Sam Elliott, Pastor Rauna Mack, Pastor Sonny Kelly, and Elder James Smith.

We thank each of you for your faithfulness, your service, your leadership, and your commitment to God’s people. Your labor of love does not go unnoticed. One Church Covenant Fellowship appreciates and celebrates you!

Let’s continue to show our clergy how much we love and appreciate them throughout this special month.

As we closed out Clergy Appreciation Month, we took time to show our leadership leadership how much we love, appreciate, and stand firmly in support of their ministry. It was a joy to honor them with gifts as a small token of our love and gratitude.

We pray that these gifts were a blessing to our leaders and their families. Thank you for your faithful service, dedication, leadership, and commitment to God’s people.
