Hello Cox families, welcome to September! As we settle into the rhythm of a new school year, the Cox PTA is excited for all the ways we will continue building connection, supporting our teachers and staff, and creating meaningful experiences for our students. September is a wonderful time to get involved, whether by attending an upcoming PTA event, volunteering your time, sharing ideas, or simply staying connected with what is happening around our school community. We are grateful for the energy, enthusiasm, and partnership our families bring, and we look forward to a fantastic month ahead together!

One of our favorite spirit spots is coming up at Sonic on Tuesday, September 15th from 4-8pm, where 40% of sales benefit Cox (last year we raised $334 - can we get to $350 this year?)! Whether you are looking for dinner or a sweet treat, come hungry and support Cox! Show this flyer or tell them you are with Cox when ordering!

Our PTA thrives because of volunteers, and there are so many ways to jump in, whether you have a little time or want to take on a bigger role. We’re currently looking for volunteers (and future leaders!) in the following areas:

• Volunteer & Room Lead Coordinator
• Math Pentathlon & Reflections
• Trunk or Treat
• Thanksgiving Lunch
• STEM Night
• Spring Festival
• 4th / 5th Grade Dance
• Kinder Celebration & 5th Grade Graduation

Whether you love planning events, organizing behind the scenes, or just want to get more connected, there’s a place for you here. Many of these committees are already starting early planning for next year—now is the perfect time to get involved and help shape what’s ahead!

We're back at the Vista Ridge Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, September 16 at 7:00 p.m.! Cox students, hop on our float or walk alongside our ride (literally!) and show off your school spirit! To make this party happen, we need your help. visit our Amazon wish list to donate some goodies for our decor and shenanigans.
