Wiggin Street Parent Update
October 7, 2024
Better Together
Families,
Last week was full of spirit and fun! There was so much fun that there was not enough time to share with all of you till now. Thank you all for helping the kids dress all week for our group picture, crazy hat day, pj day, Disney day, and orange/black day on picture day none the less! As you can see in the pictures, it made for a fun week.
You don't want to miss the video of our dance party during the MVHS Pep Rally that is posted above. Our Wiggin Street kids have moves! There was also a Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament that was ruled by Kindergarten. Halo Looney won the tournament with Imogen Jacklin at a close second. It was fun to see all of the MVHS students including some Wiggin Street Alumni. Don't blink! Kids grow up quickly.
The week ended with 3rd grade singing with Pleasant Street 3rd grade at the Johnny Appleseed Festival. They did a great job, and we appreciate Mrs. Treber and Mrs. Eilbacher helping organize as well as Mrs. Springer for all the work she did to prepare the kids.
All the best,
Christy Grandstaff

Kindergarten Pumpkin Art
Kindergartners learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin in Art class over the last two weeks. What started as a seed ended as a Jack-o-lantern! Here are a few of their finished products
Coming in October!
Art to Remember
"I'm excited to be partnering with Art to Remember this year. Students are beginning to work on projects in Art class that I will be sending to Art to Remember soon. Closer to the end of October parent order forms and information will be coming home and orders can be placed in early November for items that you may want to purchase for your family or family members and friends. The items will arrive before Christmas break to ensure that you will have them to give as gifts if you would like. There is no obligation or pressure to participate but instead, I hope that you find that this is a wonderful opportunity to capture your child's artwork to cherish for years to come! More information to come soon! ~Mrs. Biggerstaff"
