Family and Community University
The Family and Community University continue enrolling more and more families every day! Either in person, virtually, or through pre-recorded sessions, families have a variety of topics of interest. Parents and caregivers who earn 15 credits due to attending 15 sessions are eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony that will be held in May.
With Aldine's Human Resources collaboration, the university has included the Instructional paraprofessional Academy. Hence, parents seeking to work for the district better understand the instructional paraprofessionals' duties and responsibilities.
The Family and Community University is not only fulfilling the purpose of providing adult education but also a great source of employment opportunities.
