Hornet Highlights
October 23, 2026
Principal's Message:
Hello Hornet Families,
Next week is Red Ribbon Week! Each day, students will learn about the importance of making healthy choices and staying drug-free. We encourage our Hornets to make choices that help them grow, stay healthy, and shine!
Wednesday, October 28, will be an asynchronous learning day. Students will not attend school in person but will complete virtual assignments from home. Teachers will share assignments through Google Classroom. Completing the assigned work will count toward your student’s attendance for the day, so please make sure all assignments are completed! If you have questions, please reach out to your child's teacher.
Our parents and families play a crucial role in our continuous school improvement. Please take a few minutes to complete the Harper Elementary Quarter 1 Feedback Survey. Your input helps us celebrate what’s going well, identify opportunities for growth, and continue making Harper the best it can be for our students and families. Thank you for partnering with us!
Tryouts for 4th and 5th grade girls and boys basketball are coming soon! More information, including permission slips and our Code of Conduct, will be shared in the coming days. Being part of a team builds confidence, responsibility, sportsmanship, and teamwork all while helping students grow on and off the court!
Together We Fly,
Mrs. Butto

Go ahead and complete your application now so you’re ready to jump in and get involved throughout the year! We appreciate all of the ways our families support our Harper Hornets!
