Dear Timberwolf Families,

We are excited to have 70 runners from our Timberwolf Running Team competing at the Bayridge Road Race on Friday. On Friday, the school community lined the sidewalks in the neighbourhood as our running team had a mock race. All of these runners have been training exceptionally hard for the last four weeks in the snow, rain, wind, and cold. Their dedication and perseverance is to be commended. In total, the team has run thousands of kilometres over that last four weeks. We could not be more proud of them and cannot wait to watch them accomplish their individual goals. Go Timberwolves Go!

Co-Ed Touch Football tryouts are under way for the intermediate students. We are lucky to have former members of the Frontenace Falcons KASSAA and OFSAA Bowl Champions, as well as current Queens Football players helping to get our team started. This is the first year that Truedell has participated in the Calvin Cup Touch Football Tournament and we are very excited to take the field!

Our Book Fair was a HUGE success! Our school made $5600 in sales which meant that all of the classroom wishlists were fulfilled and there is remaining rewards points to purchase items and books for our library/makerspace. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Special thanks to Cassie L'Heureux and her team of intermediates helpers who did all of the organizing, set up and take down. It was a successful team effort!
