CHICHESTER CENTRAL CONNECTION
May & June News from Chichechester Central School
PRINCIPAL'S END-OF-YEAR MESSAGE
As we approach the end of another incredible school year at Chichester Central School, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that our students, staff, families, and community have accomplished together.
Throughout the year, our students have engaged in meaningful academic learning, creative performances, leadership opportunities, hands-on experiences, and community building activities that supported both personal and academic growth. Students participated in field trips, outdoor learning opportunities, Wellness Week activities, concerts and performances, academic interventions and enrichment opportunities, school dances, athletics, service projects, and community events. We celebrated milestones such as Kindergarten Kick Off, Volunteer Appreciation events, the Washington, D.C. trip, environmental camp experiences, student showcases, and end-of-year celebrations that brought our school community together. At the same time, staff continued important work strengthening literacy instruction, intervention supports, Responsive Classroom practices, social-emotional learning, and creating engaging classroom experiences for all students.
I continue to be incredibly proud of the caring and dedicated CCS staff who go above and beyond each day to support our students academically, socially, and emotionally. Their commitment, flexibility, and teamwork help create a school environment where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow.
Thank you as well to our families, volunteers, PTO, School Board, and community partners for your continued support throughout the year. Whether volunteering at events, supporting classrooms, attending performances, participating in school activities, or simply encouraging your children each day, your partnership makes a tremendous difference.
As we look ahead, we are excited for continued growth and improvement, including several summer facilities projects and classroom transitions that will help support our students and programs for the future.
To our 8th grade students, congratulations as you prepare for your next chapter. You will always be an important part of the CCS community, and we are proud of all you have accomplished.
I hope everyone has a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer filled with family, fun, and time to recharge. Thank you for another wonderful year at Chichester Central School. It is truly a privilege to serve this amazing school community.
Warmly,
Tanya Teeboom

8TH GRADE DC TRIP & GRADUATION ACTIVITIES
8th Grade Washington DC Trip
In May, Chichester Central School's 8th grade students traveled to Washington, D.C. for an unforgettable educational experience. During the four-day trip, students visited many of our nation's most historic landmarks, including the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, U.S. Capitol, Arlington National Cemetery, and several Smithsonian museums.

We are grateful to the families, staff, and community members whose support helped make this experience possible.
