We hope your weekend has been a good one and you're welcoming in October and the fall feel. This week we will be conducting our first long evacuation in several years. Please see the video below for a preview of the Red Wing Farm site. We will have support from Chelmsford Fire and Police. We will be walking to the end of the driveway at a fire drill's pace, receive some instructions, and then proceed to the rally point for further explanations. Thank you in advance for you care and attention to our students for this drill.

Wednesday - Long Evacuation Red Wing Farm, Two separate evac sessions: 9:30 am for K-1, and approximate time 10:10 for Grades 2-4 (occurs upon return from K/1 session).

All professional staff should have received their evaluator assignments. You also have contributing evaluators that may observe you and add to your evaluation. For non PTS staff and year one of two, PTS staff, your self-evaluation and draft goals will be put into Teach Point. Make sure that you do switch on the share button so that your evaluator can access the forms. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Jason and Betsy if you need assistance in the goal development process.

As we set data meetings to review our fall benchmarks, please take some time to review your students' performance. Your observations, reflections and questions help guide our data meetings.

The second week in October will be our first PBIS Push Week. The bathroom will be our first location, which has been an area of early in the year with some issues. You will be receiving scenario slides this week so that you can plan ahead for the following push week.

Please read the information about Care Solace below. CPS has contracted with Care Solace to provide free counseling referrals for CPS families and CPS staff and family members. Anyone who needs to access this help to find a counselor with openings does not need to reside in Chelmsford to gain access to a case manager to find a counselor referral in their area with an opening.
