New Policy Update from the Diocese of Orlando New Policy Update from the Diocese of Orlando

Students are permitted to walk or ride their bike to and from school. Schools will make reasonable efforts to provide a space for students to place their bikes safely out of the way during the school day. Parents allowing their child(ren) to walk/ride their bike to/from school must complete the form required for all students who walk/ride their bike or electronic bike or scooter to/from school. School administration reserves the right to deny this request on certain days due to weather conditions or for other reasonable causes. E-bikes and E-scooters are not permitted in elementary schools.

VPK families, please park by the church offices in the morning. Do not park in front of the school office. We do not want anyone walking in between cars for morning drop-off. We are trying to keep everyone safe. Thank you for following our safety protocols.

Walker gate families, please park in front of the church and walk up the sidewalk. No one should be walking from the parking lot across the carline traffic. Again, we are worried about everyone's safety. Thank you.

Early Dismissal Early Dismissal

Withdrawing students early from school disrupts the learning process of all students in the class. We realize that there are times when students must be picked up early. We ask that parents please minimize withdrawing students from school before the end of the school day. When students are picked up early, a parent/guardian must sign the student out at the school office. Students may not wait outside for pick up. If the student returns to school, the parent/guardian must sign the student back in at the school office.

  • No early withdrawals after 2:45pm (M, T, TH, F) or after 1:45 (W) due to the need for office staff to be involved in dismissal.

Dress Down Day Dress Code: Dress Down Days are announced during the course of the school year. Some are free dress days, while others serve as a fundraiser and students may be charged a small fee if they dress down. A student may also dress down on his/her Birthday OR on the closest school day if their birthday falls on a Mass Day. Guidelines for Dress Down Days and School-Sanctioned Events for all students are as follows: The rules for Dress Down Days (excluding shoes) apply to school events that are approved by the administration. Such events include but are not limited to award ceremonies, dinners, dances, socials, pep rallies and field trips.

1. Jeans, slacks, Bermuda shorts, Capri pants and skirts of appropriate length and condition (may not have holes, rips, or defrayed). Shorts or skirts may not be shorter than 4 inches above the knee.

2. No strapless, spaghetti straps, backless halters, bare midriffs, tank tops, sleeveless shirts or sundresses.

3. All shoes must be athletic shoes or school shoes, and socks must be worn. No flip-flops, sandals, open toed or backless shoes including Crocs.

4. No hats, caps, visors, bandanas, fashion scarves, or sunglasses are permitted during the school day. 5. If a student's scheduled PE class falls on a free dress day, the student must wear/bring clothes conducive to PE including athletic shoes for class. Non-compliance will incur loss of grade for the day.

In case you missed it, beginning in the 2026-27 school year, parents and guardians of "Scholarship Choice Confirmed" students must complete an attestation in EMA each quarter for funding consideration. This attestation confirms that the student is not enrolled full-time in a public school. Important: A student will not receive funding if their attestation is not completed by the deadline. This email was shared with families, but we appreciate your help in encouraging them to take action.
