FUN RUN 2025
We’re just one week away from the start of our St. John’s Panthers Fun Run Fundraiser! This event is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, show Panther pride, and support an important cause.
Students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade will take part in the Fun Run, while Middle School students will enjoy a special Color Run experience on the track during their run time. We can’t wait to see our Panthers in action as we celebrate teamwork, fitness, and school spirit—all while helping our students and staff reach new heights.
Funds will go toward classroom technology that supports learning, equipping our team who walk alongside students with additional needs, strengthening our capacity to support advanced learners, and maintaining a safe, secure facility for everyone in our building. Any funds raised beyond these goals will then support our Tuition Assistance Program, helping more families experience our Graduate Promise.
More details about run times and volunteer opportunities will be shared soon—stay tuned! Curious about the event? You can find an overview of our fundraiser HERE.

Tips for Success:
Set a fundraising goal with your student, share often using the online tools, and be sure to thank your supporters once you reach your goal.
We’re also thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with Dave & Buster’s! When you register your student(s) on MyBooster.com and receive at least a $1 per unit donation, they’ll earn a 60-Minute Dave & Buster’s Play Pass. Plus, all registered students will be entered into a school-wide sweepstakes for a Dave & Buster’s MEGA VIP Party! Students can earn additional entries by completing sharing tasks on their student dashboards.
Thank you for supporting St. John’s and helping us reach our $40,000 goal. Together, we’re making a difference for our students and our school!
Upcoming Lockdown Drill – October 14, 2025
On Tuesday, October 14 at 9:30 a.m., St. John’s will conduct a lockdown drill to practice our safety procedures in the unlikely event of a danger inside the building. Lockdown drills are always announced to students and staff beforehand, so everyone knows it is a drill and that the school is safe.
During this time, the school will be inaccessible to visitors for approximately 15 minutes (between 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.). The Denver Police Department will be on campus to assist with the drill and to review our procedures and systems with our team.
We encourage parents to preview the lockdown drill with their child in a manner that is appropriate for them. For more details on our procedures, please refer to the Standard Response Protocol (SRP).

Exciting Matching Gift Opportunity
A generous alumnus has offered up to $125,000 in matching funds to offset the cost of recent building improvements, freeing up finances to be available for future work.
Checks are welcome and preferred. We will be sharing electronic donation information shortly. We are grateful to all who help bring this next phase to life.
Volunteer for WatchDOGS
We invite the men of our community—dads, grandfathers, uncles, and other special men—to join Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) at St. John’s ELC–8th Grade. This one-time, 4-hour program provides positive male role models, supports safety and student well-being, and gives fathers and father figures a meaningful way to experience school life alongside their children.
Volunteer for Reading Rockstars
Become a Reading Rockstar and help our younger students grow as readers! Volunteers commit to 30–60 minutes a week for 4 consecutive weeks, working one-on-one or in small groups to build strong reading habits and a lifelong love of reading.
You can sign up to be a Reading Rockstar here
