Texas College Bridge in 2024-2025 Texas College Bridge in 2024-2025

The College Prep courses (TEC §28.014) may be delivered through a locally-developed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between an institution of higher education and a school district. Or, the courses may be delivered through the statewide Texas College Bridge program.

As previously communicated, the funding that has been in place for Texas College Bridge since 2020 will come to an end Summer of 2024. For your budget planning process, Texas College Bridge is providing initial information about fee structure that will be put in place for Texas College Bridge starting with the 2024-2025.

Texas College Bridge will be available for a flat rate that is intended to make budgeting simpler and give you the assurance of unlimited access to Texas College Bridge courses. The cost of the flat rate is dependent on the district’s high school enrollment from the fall of the previous school year. For example, the 2024-2025 rate is based on the Fall 2023 enrollment snapshot (last Friday in October) for all students in grades 9-12 enrolled in the district. 10% discounts are available for early payment and multi-year commitments. Details are located in this FAQ.

Complete this form by January 31, 2024 to indicate your intent on providing Texas College Bridge during the 2024-2025 school year, including whether you are also interested in making an early or multi-year commitment. Your answer is for planning purposes and is non-binding.

In addition to regular Thursday afternoon hours, TCB will be holding extended office hours to provide personalized answers to any questions you may have.

Locally-Developed MOUs for College Prep Courses Locally-Developed MOUs for College Prep Courses

The College Prep courses (TEC §28.014) may be delivered through a locally-developed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between an institution of higher education and a school district. If a district is interested in exploring a locally-developed MOU to deliver college prep courses, the district can initiate a conversation with a partnering institution. Although the college prep courses are NOT dual credit, dual credit providers may also be able to offer solutions for college prep courses.

Anyone can be creative. That's the message Creative Confidence drives home by showing that creativity is an innate ability that requires courage to uncover. It's not so much a case of learning how to be creative, but rather learning how to release creativity by overcoming fears and doubts, something that all GT students - and their teachers - can benefit from in life.
