Welcome Back!
The 2026–2027 school year is here, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome all of our returning students back to L.A.C.E.S.! We also can't wait to meet and get to know all of the students who are new to L.A.C.E.S. this year.
We are excited to watch our students THRIVE at L.A.C.E.S. through meaningful learning, personal growth, and fun experiences throughout the school year!
All L.A.C.E.S. students must complete online registration for their general education school. In order to register online, go to the family resources tab on the Lovington School's Web site or through the ParentVue app!

School Supplies
F.I.S.H. Folders
Family Involvement Starts Here(F.I.S.H.)! Parents and guardians are a vital part of student success and learning. Every student at L.A.C.E.S. will have a communication folder that we complete each day. Please make sure to go over the folder every night with your child and return it in their backpacks! This is a great way to start conversations about how your child's day was at school. Ask what activities they completed at the different learning stations, as well as in therapy. If you have important information to relay to LACES staff please let us know in the "Notes from Parents" section.
Drop Off and Pick Up Policies
Students will be welcomed beginning at 7:40 AM and should be picked up by 3:40 PM.
LACES uses hand-to-hand drop-off and pick-up procedures to help ensure the safety of all students. Please escort your student to the back gate, where they will be greeted by a LACES staff member.
Our parking lot can be busy, so please do not allow your student to run from the car. Our top priority is keeping every student safe!
L.A.C.E.S. shares a parking lot with Nor Lea Student Health Care Clinic. We ask that parents please DO NOT park in the parking spaces directly in front of the clinic at any time!
If your student is new to LACES, or if your returning student's bus number has changed since last year, please contact Rosa at 575-739-2750 to let us know which bus your student will be riding.
LACES staff will be available to meet buses as students arrive each morning and leave each afternoon.
Parent's Square
All Communication will be conducted through the Parent's Square Application! Please make sure and download the app so that you are aware of everything that is going on at LACES. Also, please feel free to call LACES at 575-739-2750 for any questions or concerns.
L.A.C.E.S. Daily Schedule
L.A.C.E.S. Elementary Schedule
All students schedules are individualized as determined by their IEP recommendations. However this is the schedule they will be following during their time at L.A.C.E.S.
H.O.P.E. Parent Support Group
The H.O.P.E. Parent Support Group will resume monthly meetings starting in September this year. The parents support group is a great way to meet other parents of children with autism and collaborate with parents and professionals about challenges while also celebrating successes. More information to follow!
