Judy Center Early Learning Hub

One of our favorite times of the year is when our young friends make the exciting transition to Pre-Kindergarten at SES! It’s a special opportunity for us to support them as they take this big step and meet their new teacher.

To help get them ready, we distributed backpacks purchased through the Pre-K Expansion funds, filled with:

• Books to spark early literacy

• Dental supplies from our wonderful dental partner

• Water bottles from our amazing Maryland SNAP-Ed partner

• …and so much more!

We also had the chance to meet many new families—and even welcomed some eager new Judy Center playgroup friends who are excited to enroll in our free services.

It was truly a win-win for everyone, and we’re thrilled to be part of this exciting milestone for so many families!

Judy Center Early Learning Hubs serve families of children (birth through age 5) residing within their school's catchment area. They also serve children, who reside anywhere in Queen Anne's County; if a child has an IEP or an IFSP.

Exciting News!
The official start of our Tuesday and Thursday Playgroups is just around the corner — beginning September 16th!

We hope you’ve already scheduled your enrollment appointment and are as excited as we are to kick off a new year of learning and fun with Ms. Jana Boddy, our dedicated Early Childhood Liaison at the Judy Center. Ms. Jana has been hard at work planning engaging and hands-on lessons for the months ahead.

We’ve also given our classroom a fresh new look, and we think both you and your child will love it. It’s the perfect way to start the year with a clean slate and positive energy!
