Nursing Direct Admit BSN Information Sessions Fall 2026

The BSN Direct Admit for First-Year Students pathway provides a unique opportunity for students coming directly out of high school, allowing admission to the College of Nursing and opportunities to get involved and build relationships from their first day on campus. Admitted students complete their prerequisites as nursing students and have access to additional College of Nursing resources, including academic advisors; organized study groups; and tutoring, workshops, and additional activities. Students are not required to reapply following completion of their first year. This pathway is designed for students to complete their coursework within four years. Students are admitted once a year for the fall semester.

After watching the prerecorded information session, please join us for a virtual Q&A with a College of Nursing advisor to learn more about the program and admission requirements, and to have your questions answered!

Students are invited to attend an information meeting to learn more about the program:

🚨Students: Be sure to check your home high school's local scholarships! 🚨

Each home high school / community may have local scholarships for students graduating or learning in their district. If your home high school is one of our consortium schools, be sure to look into district specific scholarships - - you are a part of their district even though you attend IA. For school of choice students, your community may offer scholarships for high school students who reside in the community. Check local libraries and chambers of commerce as well as the high schools in your community to see if there are opportunities that you are eligible for.

Additionally, students can register for a newsletter that will send scholarship opportunities to your inbox. Recommendation: Use a specific email just for scholarship information so that your most used email isn't flooded with emails. https://studentscholarships.org/newsletters
