Weekly Update

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Paddock Road Families,
We are less than a week away from the start of the school year! It has been an awesome summer, and we have SO many exciting updates at Paddock Road. The best part? Construction is complete! đ
Donât miss our Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, August 11th at 5:00 PM in our brand-new addition. Open House will immediately follow from 5:30â6:30 PM. Come meet your teachers, explore our new spaces, and reconnect with friends you havenât seen in the past two months. We canât wait to show off our new Panda spaces!
The first day of school is Thursday, August 13th! A quick reminder for our incoming kindergarten families: Kindergarten students are divided into Group A and Group B for the first days of school. Your childâs group assignment has already been sent to you. If you have questions, please call Mrs. Koneck at the front desk.
I cannot wait to see all of you back at school this week! It has been a great summer, but itâs time to get down to business. Bamboo says the Panda Nation has had enough of summer! đź
Letâs make it a great year!
Quinn McGuire
Principal

HAPPENING AROUND SCHOOL
MEET MRS. KIMBALL
My name is Hilary Kimball, and this is my first year at Paddock as the Health Assistant. I have been an early childhood educator for the past fourteen years, so I am excited for a change of roles this year within the school system. I have lived in Omaha for the past twenty years with my husband Josh. We love to watch movies, sports and spend time with our family and friends. I am very excited to help the students this year stay health and safe at school!
VOLUNTEER BACKGROUND CHECK INFORMATION
đź Want to Volunteer at Paddock Road?
We love having our families be part of the Bamboo Crew! If you would like to volunteer at Paddock Roadâwhether that means reading with students in the classroom, helping on a field trip, having lunch with your student, or lending a hand during a school-wide eventâyouâll need to complete the districtâs volunteer background check.
Click here to have the background check information sent to you from Mrs. McGuire. Once your background check is completed and approved, youâll be ready to volunteer and jump in when opportunities arise!
Thank you for sharing your time and talents with our students. We are so glad youâre part of Paddock Road! đźđ
