On Tuesday, August 18th, we will be hosting our Back to School Night/Meet and Greet for all of our students and families. Our PTC will be helping us celebrate the start of the school year by serving Leatherby's Ice Cream! We will have Livescan/Fingerprinting on site for those that wish to volunteer or chaperone field trips (fingerprinting only needs to be done in the district one time).
Mr. Middleton will be presenting in the multipurpose room at 5:00 with an identical presentation at 6:30. This is especially helpful for new families at TBE. We can't wait to see you all on Tuesday!
4:00 - 5:00 PM: AM TK ONLY families (Mrs. Cederholm's and Scarbrough's Classes)
4:45pm-7:00pm LiveScan Fingerprinting Required for all adults who plan to volunteer or attend field trips. Livescan is only required once and doesn't expire. Adults must also have a negative TB test within the last 4 years on file with our office.

Mrs. Megan Fosson will be teaching 2nd grade. She's lived in CA since she was 10 years old. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton. She has 4 children, who are her pride and joy. She's passionate about building strong relationships with her students and families and loves to help children develop a love of reading and learning.
She loves live music, theater, Disneyland, reading, going to the pool and spending time in nature. She's a proud "Swiftie" and a Diet Coke/Diet Dr. Pepper girl! You can most likely find her on the field cheering on her kids at their soccer and softball games.
Fun Fact: Before becoming a teacher, she was a wedding and portrait photographer and also studied acting as part of her degree.
Mr. Akoni Bacungan is our new music teacher and we are excited for all the knowledge and excitement about music that he will share with our students.
He's a graduate of CSU Long Beach and majored in Vocal/Choral Music Education. He was lucky enough to travel with the Bob Cole Chamber Choir in 2025 where his choir competed and performed in Wales and Ireland.
He loves to play card and board games. He likes to bowl and play billiards and travel.
A fun fact about Mr. Bacungan: he grew up on a dormant volcano in Honolulu, Hawaii! His favorite superhero is Spiderman.
Mrs. DiAnne (pronounced DeeAnne) McGuire will be teaching 3rd grade. She is originally from the Sacramento area but has lived in Boston, South Carolina and Santa Rosa. She graduated from Sac State and Sonoma.
She loves to ice skate, knit, quilt and cook.
Fun fact about Mrs. McGuire is that she can pretty much name any song from the 80's with only one or 2 notes! She LOVES all things 80's! (We might have to challenge her to a name that tune battle - 80's themed...of course)!
Ms. Alicia Frank will be teaching 2nd grade. She is from Lincoln. She graduated from GCU and is currently pursuing her master's degree in curriculum and instruction.
She loves spending time with her family, working out, reading and crafting. A fun fact about her is that fitness has always been a big part of her family and she LOVES strength training.

IF YOUR CHILD'S BIRTHDAY IS OVER A WEEKEND PLEASE INDICATE WHAT DATE YOU WANT THE MESSAGE ON (THE FRIDAY BEFORE OR THE MONDAY AFTER THEIR BIRTHDAY...ENTER THAT DATE AS THEIR DATE OF BIRTH).
YOU MUST PURCHASE BY THE 25TH OF THE MONTH. (i.e. if your student's birthday is on February 25th you would need to order and pay for their message by January 25th in order for their message to be included. We are excited to be able to add this as a special thing for our students.
