Schedule at a Glance
Here is everything you need to know about the Franklin Central Bands program right now.
Sync the Calendar to your phone!
The easiest way to keep up with schedules is to sync the band calendar to your phone! Add this url https://fcbands.boosterhub.com/ical-stream to your google or outlook calendar.
*If you are experiencing issues with your calendar synching, we recommend to un-sync and re-sync your calendar every once in a while to make sure your calendar is up-to-date.
Special note from the Treasurer!
Winter Wrap-up: Final payments for Indoor Percussion and Guard are due April 1st (no joke)
Marching Band Kickoff: Registration starts in April. If you aren't in a winter group, payments start in April. If you’re finishing up your winter season, your payments will begin in May.
FC Band Events
Thank you!
Thank you everyone who volunteered this past weekend for WGI. It was a huge success and we couldn't have done it without our volunteers and past board members who donated their time. Thank you again!
As a reminder:
All volunteers (chaperons, volunteers for meals, etc.) must have a Safe Visitor background check on file with FTCSC to work any event. The background check costs $16 and is good for 2 years. If you are unsure whether you have a current background check on file, please email Amanda Gaiser: secretary@fcbands.org

We will be holding the 2026 WGI Dayton Parent Meeting on Thursday, April 2 at 6:00pm in room G112.
Miles to Dayton
We are asking that every student in the group raise at least $150. Anything over that is gravy. Let me know if you have any questions!! With rising costs and additional expenses, we need to raise funds so the performers may continue to compete at the highest level and carry on the rich tradition of their predecessors. The FC Band Boosters are kicking off a unique fundraiser called “Miles to Dayton.”
Current total: $444.
The following students have met their fundraising goal, Ari Lee - $175, Zach Brown - $249
The premise is this: it is approximately 100 miles from FCHS to the University of Dayton Arena. We ask donors to buy a (pretend) mile marker. For example, I want to purchase mile marker 97, so my donation would be $97. I would select Percussion, then check out. Of course, you can donate any amount. We don’t mind if other donors purchase the same mile marker. We are simply trying to raise funds to give our students a fighting chance to compete against the best groups in the nation.
Donations can be made by heading to fcbands.org, clicking on store, and finding the "Miles to Dayton" fundraiser. Be sure to choose Percussion and add the student's name you are supporting.
All donations are needed and appreciated! If you have any questions, feel free to direct them to percussionliaison@fcbands.org
Please note- we WILL be attending the world championships; this is just a fundraiser to help offset costs and ensure our kids have the best possible experiences!!

Winter Program Fundraisers Happening Now
Franklin Central Percussion and Winter Guard programs have a long history of competing at the world level. With rising costs and additional expenses, we must raise funds so the performers may continue to compete at the highest level and carry on the rich tradition of their predecessors.
For Indoor Percussion, we will once again be doing our annual Miles to Dayton Fundraiser. The premise is this: it is approximately 100 miles from FCHS to the University of Dayton Arena. If we sell all 100-mile markers, the group would raise $5,030! Donors are asked to sponsor a mile marker. For example, if I want to sponsor mile marker 11 I donate $11. The person selects which group (percussion) and lists the name of the student they are supporting and then checks out.
Winter Guard will be completing the Fill my Flag Fundraiser. The premise is similar where individuals sponsor a space on each member's flag to help raise money for the program. More than one person can sponsor the same space on the flag. Go to the Store on the home page and click on Fill my Flag.
Of course, anyone can donate any amount. We are simply trying to raise funds to give our students a fighting chance to compete against the best groups in the nation. All donations are needed and appreciated! If you have any questions, feel free to direct them to fundraising@fcbands.org

Fundraise at the Track
Are you looking for opportunities to add money to your student band account? One of our fundraising partners, BCS, is once again offering our group the opportunity to work at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to earn money for band accounts. They are looking for individuals to staff carts.
The prime candidates would be ambitious, energetic, and motivated people. Many members of our group have worked for BCS in the past. We work at food carts selling frozen treats (prepacked, no scooping or dipping), Warm Pretzels dipped in salt or sugar, Lemonade drawn out of a tap system (not hand mixed or shaken.)
We earn 10% of sales and all tips. Exact earnings vary based on date worked, level of sales, etc.
Additional Requirements and Information
You will be standing most of the day, serving guests from the booth. You bring your own lunch/snacks and water bottle, unless you plan to purchase food from a vendor inside of the track.
No cash is accepted in the track. Only Credit Card payments make for speedy transactions and not having to count a drawer, deal with change, etc.
Students age 16 and older are eligible to work. Students must be partnered with an adult. Having multiple people from the same family (parent(s) with child, older siblings, etc.) maximizes your earnings for your student account.
Dress Code: Khaki or black pants; depending on weather sometimes shorts are acceptable but determined by foodservice at track. A Bernhardt Concession Services shirt will be provided for the
day(s) you work, or you may wear a plain black shirt. Comfortable closed toe shoes, a hat/visor, no sandals.
Hours: Are communicated once gate times are communicated to Bernhardt Concession Services.
Number of People Needed: 3-5 people per location. BCS operates 28 locations on Indy 500 day, and 1-8 locations on other various dates during the Month of May.
If you want to sign up to work, please use the signup genius link below.

General Fundraising
RaiseRight™
Fundraising for YOU - all year round! No selling, no spending extra time or money… just everyday purchases turned into earnings. All of the money you earn goes straight to your student’s band account to use toward their band fees.
How does it work?
Rebates earned are added to your RaiseRight account. Once a month the RaiseRight Coordinator sends a rebate report to the Treasurer so the funds can be applied to your student’s band account. This will show as a credit line item on your monthly statement. The easiest way to earn is by downloading the RaiseRight app on your phone so you can purchase on the go!
You can also use an "online shopping" tool via RaiseRight to stack your earnings. Please note, credits from taking advantage of the "Online Shopping" tool will take longer to show in their booster credits. RaiseRight will not pay out online shopping credits until 45 days after purchase to assure no item have been returned.
Who can use it?
Any parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, cousin, friend, or neighbor can sign up for an account to help raise money for your student. They don’t have to live in Indianapolis in order to use it, either! With the convenience of the RaiseRight app, out of town friends and relatives can help you earn too!
How much can I earn?
Really, that is up to you! The more you use, the more you earn. Many of our families have offset their fees by as much as HALF just by using RaiseRight.
More information can be found on the FC Bands website at RaiseRight Fundraising.
