Teamwork and Swimmy
Students learned to work together to make ONE big fish with cooperation, taking turns, positive encouragement, and problem solving. Students listened to the story, Swimmy, by Leo Leoni, and brainstormed how they could design one big fish. Each student colored a fish red and placed it down around Swimmy's eye. Students learned that even though they have different perspectives, they can work together as a group to achieve a goal. Students also learned that they can be brave, curious, adventurous , and form new friendships ike Swimmy.
