SAVE THE DATE!!!! WMES PTO is presenting the annual glow night on

Tuesday, December 16th from 4:30 - 6:30pm

1st Grade finished our first unit in our Arts and Letters Curriculum! The essential question we discussed in every book was "Why are books important?. Each story examined why books have been important in different cultures and in people's lives. As we have been wrapping up our unit, we have discussed the characters/setting and problem/solution of every story. We sure have learned a lot! Today all 1st graders voted for their favorite book-if you know a 1st Grader, ask them which book they voted for and why! Happy Reading!
