15/15 Rule
Thank you for helping us stick to the 15/15 Rule (no leaving class 15 minutes after the bell or before the bell rings). Your support in reinforcing this expectation with students has been a huge help to our GLCs and Security team!
A special shoutout to Ellie Blanchard for creating the graphic below sometime ago, to post in her classroom as a reminder for students about restroom use. This is a fantastic idea! We encourage you to hang it up near your green lanyards so students know exactly when it’s okay to leave your classroom.
Keys
- Exterior classroom keys begin with AA. These keys will open your classroom door, staff mailroom, and staff restrooms.
- Keys with a small h will open the B and E perimeter gates.
- Report missing/lost/stolen keys immediately to your dean.
- Do not allow students to use keys.
- New/replacement keys must be approved by your dean.
*Please check doors and gates as your come and go to ensure the door/gate is closed and locked properly.

Work Orders and Technology Help Desk
As a rule of thumb,
- If it needs to be repaired, email Conchita Cawley at cCawley@wvusd.org
- Include specifics and pictures, if possible.
- Custodians are the first line of defense. If we can’t repair it onsite a Work Order or Help Desk ticket for Technology will be submitted.
- Conchita will submit the Work Order for MOTF or Help Desk ticket for Technology.
- Tickets will be placed on the same day the issue is reported.
- If you are requesting new or upgraded equipment or furniture, email your dean.
