Following the completion of the district's 10 Day S.E.A.T. Count, staffing allocations were adjusted based on current student enrollment. As a result, Wilson Creek Elementary lost staffing allocations, which has required consolidation and adjustments to a few classrooms.

Families and students directly impacted by these classroom consolidations have already been notified and provided with a detailed transition plan to support a smooth and successful move. Our priority throughout this process has been to minimize disruption while ensuring students continue to receive the high quality instruction and support they deserve.

We recognize that staffing adjustments can be concerning, and we are grateful for the flexibility, professionalism, and commitment demonstrated by our staff throughout this process. We remain focused on providing an exceptional educational experience for every student and are confident that Wilson Creek will continue to thrive as a strong and supportive learning community.

As a reminder, the Optional Device Protection (ODP) enrollment window remains open through September 25th.

• The Optional Device Protection Plan helps families offset the cost of accidental device damage and can significantly reduce out-of-pocket expenses for repairs or replacement. Without coverage, families may be responsible for repair costs ranging from $30-$270, with replacement costs up to $500 depending on the extent of the damage.

Future Absence Requests:

Please use the form and follow the directions on our website when making a Future Absence Request. The link to this portion of our website is below. Reminder that all Future Absence Requests (both Pre-Approved and Remote Learning) should be made with at least 5 days advance notice so that our staff can adequately review and prepare for the absences being requested.

If your child is going to be absent, please email WCESRESIDENCY@fultonschools.org and provide the following information -

• Child’s first and last name
• Teacher’s name
• All dates of absence
• The legal reason for the absence

Please note that after three consecutive absences, a doctor's note must be emailed to WCESRESIDENCY@fultonschools.org. Please copy your child's homeroom teacher on every communication.

Parents and guardians are required to review and electronically acknowledge the 2026-2027 Fulton County Schools Student Code of Conduct.

To assist families with this process, we have provided a flyer with step-by-step instructions for accessing and acknowledging the Code of Conduct through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, either on a desktop computer or through the Infinite Campus mobile app.

Please complete the acknowledgment as soon as possible to ensure your student's records remain up to date. Refer to the flyer below for detailed guidance.

All students in grades 3-5 will take the Student Success Skills inventory by the end of the week. Student Success Skills are taught to all students in grades K-5 weekly. Please refer to the attached parent packet for more information on the inventory and program.

Girls in STEM is a club run by Northview High School students to encourage elementary school girls to join STEM fields at a young age! We introduce topics such as chemistry, engineering, physics, and more, through fun science experiments and activities. Meetings are completely free of charge and are held once a month on Thursdays @ Northview High School from 3:50 ~ 5 pm!! Please see the attached flyer to join our mailing list!
