John Rolfe Middle School News
Principal's Message
Welcome Rolfe Families,
As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, I am filled with excitement, gratitude, and optimism for the opportunities that lie ahead. At John Rolfe Middle School, we remain dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
This year, our work will continue to be guided by three important pillars: Commitment, Community, and Goal Setting.
Building on our continued trend of success, our students and staff have consistently demonstrated what is possible when high expectations are paired with strong support and meaningful relationships.
I look forward to working alongside our students, families, and staff to make this a year filled with learning, growth, connection, and achievement. Together, we will build on our successes, embrace new opportunities, and continue creating the exceptional learning experiences that make John Rolfe Middle School such a special place.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

Student ID Badges
All Henrico County Public Schools students will be provided student ID cards to bring and use to school every day. These cards are designed to streamline and simplify various parts of the school day, while making school environments safer and more secure. The cards bring together a handful of processes and makes them all accessible with a quick scan or tap.
Once they receive them, please be sure that your student has their ID badges when they board the bus. ID badges are required and help to ensure safety for all students.
