Way to go 7th graders! You have MINGA points headed your way! #ExcellenceEveryDay

This month, we’re challenging your students to reflect on their experiences and take responsibility for how they choose to learn and grow from these experiences. We are partnering with you to grow and develop your child’s sense of responsibility. As you reflect as a family, celebrate your accomplishments, identify areas you may want to improve, and consider new ways to serve others in the days ahead.

This December, challenge your family to list 100 family memories from the year, big and small. As memories come to mind, add them to the list. At the end of the month, share and reflect on these memories as a family. Celebrate the good ones, talk about the lessons you may have learned from the hard ones, and think about how you have grown this year.

Don't miss your opportunity to buy a yearbook for the 2025-2026 school year! They are on sale for $40.00 from now until December 18th.

Don't forget to cash in those MINGA points for a chance to win a $25.00 Walmart gift card or Yellowjacket merch of your choice from the library! The drawing will be held THIS WEEK on December 8th!

As we prepare for Christmas break, we kindly ask students to return any library books they have finished reading. This helps us keep our shelves stocked and ready for everyone to enjoy in the new year.

If your student is still in the middle of a book, no worries—they are welcome to keep it over the break and continue reading! We simply ask that all completed books be returned by the break.

Thank you for supporting our library and encouraging great reading habits!

With Christmas break around the corner, now is a perfect time for students to continue—or begin—working toward their Accelerated Reading goal of 125 points. Students who reach this milestone will earn an invitation to our end-of-year AR celebration! Holiday break offers plenty of cozy reading moments, so we hope everyone takes advantage of the extra time to dive into great books and keep those points climbing!
