The Heartbeat of the Wildcat

If you're new here—welcome! Every Friday, we send out our Heartbeat of the Wildcat newsletter to keep you informed and connected. Each edition includes highlights of what’s been happening around the school during the week, as well as important updates and upcoming events.

Stay tuned and thank you for being part of our Wildcat community!

The fundraiser blankets have arrived!

• Students who submitted an order form, received their blankets to take home during school.

• If you placed your order in person at the school, your blanket is ready for pickup in the High School Office during school hours.

Thank you for your support!

Mrs. Senior Freshmen Advisor

Help us fill hearts (and hands!) this holiday season! ❤️

The Student Council’s Hearts for the Holidays Drive runs now through December 19.

We’re collecting unpackaged hygiene products and new socks—simple items that make a big difference.

Students may participate in both ETS and Upward Bound programs.

The senior portrait deadline is May 1, and we will be sending reminders leading up to that date starting beginning of the year in 2026. We will start collecting them in spring 2026.

This will be the photo included in the yearbook.
You can email these to Kelsey Book: Book_k@burgschools.org

Please email the students first and last name, along with their photo.
