During the first week of school, our staff has been teaching students the "ROW like a Viking" expectations—Respect, Ownership, and Wise Choices—across different areas. In the cafeteria, students were reminded to show respect, take ownership of their trash, and make wise choices regarding their behavior. On the playground, the focus was on respecting playtime, taking ownership of their actions, and making wise choices for safety and fun. On the bus, students practiced respect for others, ownership of their belongings, and wise choices regarding behavior. In the bathroom, the emphasis was on respecting privacy, maintaining cleanliness, and making wise use of the facilities. Students will be able to earn ROW tickets every day while at Dundee Elementary School. ROW tickets will make them eligible to win prizes, rewards for their class, and much more!

Our focus for the month of September will be Playground Expectations as that is where the majority of our behavior incidents occurred last school year.
