October is here, and that means it’s time to put the finishing touches on All-State and the January Conference. Take a moment to review the updates below to be sure everything is covered. Here is to a productive and positive week ahead.
State Marching Contest

Choral Learning Tracks
The Choral Learning Tracks website will be upgraded between October 25 and November 1st. Service may be unavailable during that window, including email service. For emergencies during this window, please email Shera at pipespracticetrax@gmail.com.
Audition Registration Deadlines!
We are days away from the early audition deadline! Don't miss these deadlines, register today!
- October 9 (5:00 pm) - Late audition registration deadline for Choir, Guitar and Orchestra
- October 15 (5:00 pm) - Early audition registration deadline for Band and Jazz
- October 22 (5:00 pm) - Late audition registration deadline for Band and Jazz

As you know, this year’s audition process has shifted from a “live record” to a “digital upload” format for all portions of the audition, except for the sight-reading component. Below are several tutorial links to guide you through the new process.

This is a chance to celebrate their accomplishments, inspire current students, and showcase their achievements. Luncheon Tickets
Don't miss the 2026 luncheon - tickets are available here. If your district is paying for your registrations, please check with your music coordinator to see if the luncheon is included in the registration they will complete.
We are using a new credit card processing application for luncheon tickets that doesn't charge NMMEA a fee however there is a donation option back to the company. You can simply select "other" and leave it zero if you do not wish to donate.
