Roosevelt Report
March 22, 2026
Principal Points
Dear Roosevelt Families,
As we head into our final week before Spring Break, it’s hard to believe how quickly this stretch of the school year has gone! This time of year can feel both exciting and exhausting—for students, staff, and families alike. The anticipation of a break is real, but so is the importance of finishing strong together.
At Roosevelt, we are staying focused, positive, and intentional as we head into this final week—because every moment still matters.
Staying Strong
March can feel heavy—filled with learning goals, behavior reminders, busy schedules, and everyday life.
But here’s the good news:
This is where growth happens.
This is where we model grit, perseverance, and positivity for our students. When things feel challenging, we lean into our Roosevelt values and remind our students (and ourselves!) that we can do hard things.
Learning Continues—Right to the Finish Line
Even with Spring Break around the corner, our classrooms remain full of meaningful learning experiences:
- Students are continuing to strengthen their reading and math skills
- Teachers are using data to ensure each child is growing
- Classrooms are filled with collaboration, discussion, and problem-solving
Every day counts, and we are so proud of the effort our students are putting in!
PBIS Focus: Respect • Responsibility • Safety
We are continuing to reinforce what it means to be a Roosevelt Tiger:
- Respectful in our words and actions
- Responsible in our learning and choices
- Safe in all school spaces
Keep an eye out for those Pawsome Tickets—our students are doing a great job demonstrating these expectations!
A Note for Families
This week is a great time to help your child stay grounded and finish strong:
- Keep routines consistent (especially bedtime!)
- Encourage effort and a positive mindset
- Celebrate small wins each day
A simple “I’m proud of you for working hard” goes a long way.
Looking Ahead to Spring Break - March 28 until April 5 - School Resumes April 6
Spring Break is a wonderful time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time together as a family. Whether you’re traveling or staying close to home, we hope it brings you moments of joy, connection, and relaxation.
Let’s make this week a great one, Tigers!
