Holiday Cards or Letters to seniors Assignment: -Write a holiday card (or comic) to a senior citizen who lives in assisted living in Bath -You could simply say “Happy Holidays” -Maybe add a picture showing or telling: What is your favorite thing to do in Bath in the winter? Other tips: Start with: “Hello!” or… “Happy Holidays!” Closing: Sign your first name only and include what grade you are in Example: From Meg, 4th grade Fisher Mitchell School Remember: Not everyone celebrates the same holidays

The final count for FMS’s part of the canned soup collection was 420 cans!!! Thanks again

Ms. Barker had the idea of keeping the good will flowing by starting another activity of giving. We will begin collecting holiday cards for senior citizens in assisted living. Ms. Barker will give them to Main Street Bath to distribute to our area senior centers. We shared with the students that many seniors are without family and receiving a card is a warm gesture. We also discussed that people celebrate different holidays and the season differently. Students can make cards at school and at home. I look forward to seeing how many cards we can make!
