Did We Catch You Working?
MAP TESTING IS UPON US!
Are you new to Missouri and unsure what M.A.P. Testing is? This is our standardized test that our state had adopted that we all take across all public schools in Missouri to continue our accreditation and accountability. These determine your child's ability to master the concepts taught in the tested areas of Reading, Writing, Math and Science.
Please make sure your child gets a good night's rest and is ready for school on time. We begin in the morning and all students must take the test as a state requirement. Late students might have to wait and take make-up tests. Those are not as fun! Kids then miss out on other classes & events going on during our testing weeks.
Your child's MAP test scores will be available in the fall. Scores fall in a range of categories including: below basic, basic, proficient and advanced.

Interested in volunteering at our school district?
Protecting Kids
I love taking care of kids. This month outside places and our school you might see these blue things that look fun to eat. I assure you they are NOT FUN TO EAT.
However, my school family has shared with me they are special things to leave alone. Car wheels. Bike wheels... I cannot have ANY OF THE WHEELS.
This type of wheel (that I cannot have) is called a "pin wheel" and we do a fundraiser in our school district to support Child Abuse Prevention Month. These wheels are outside to represent children and keeping kids safe.
Giving kids warm snuggles and little hand licks is my favorite thing to do. Sometimes it helps kids feel better, which is totally PAW-SOME! Thank you to everyone in our town and at our schools who help keep kids safe.
Notes from Nurse Anderson
1. April is Autism Awareness Month. A great time to remind and teach your children empathy, understanding, and the differences within each of us.
2. Student immunization clinics will be happening at FMS! Information and permission slips will go home soon!
Notes from the Cafeteria
Students will need their ID# and money deposited in their account to purchase from the A La Carte Line at Middle School.
National Library Week
We are celebrating National Library Week by showing off some of the things this year that have been meaningful in the library! Check out our video!
Beanstack Challenge for Spring

Put some spring in your step and get reading! Log your reading to earn colorful badges! Rewards for earning 100, 200 and 300 minutes of reading! We will have candy, popcorn and drinks from the cafe to reward readers.
