Happy MARCH!
Talbot will be kicking off an exciting March Mathness ST Math Tournament! Students will compete in a friendly challenge to see which homeroom can complete the most ST Math puzzles each week.
Teachers will be sharing the updates with students, and we encourage families to help cheer them on at home. Every puzzle counts!

Along with major bragging rights, the winning classroom will receive, a stuffed Jiji the
Penguin to live in their classroom for the rest of the school year!

To celebrate the final week of the tournament, we’ll be hosting a fun spirit week from
March 23–27. Here’s a sneak peek at the themes so families can plan ahead:

- Monday March 23, Numbers day (wear a jersey with a number)
- Tuesday March 24, Get in SHAPE (wear athletic clothes)
- Wednesday March 25, Pattern Day (wear crazy patterns)
- Thursday March 26, Dress to the NINES, (wear a fancy outfit)
- Friday March 27, JIJI day (Wear black and white or dress like a penguin) Bracket winner will be announced
