A Message from Our Principal
Dear Farnham Families,
In the first 30 days of school, we have been keeping a close eye on attendance and punctuality. So far, 77 of our Farnham Falcons have been late at least once, and 20 of our Falcons have been late more than 30% of the time.
We know that arriving on time each day sets our students up for success—helping them start the day calmly, connect with their classmates, and fully engage in learning. Thank you for partnering with us to build strong attendance habits that support both academic growth and lifelong responsibility.
This past Wednesday, our community came together for International Walk to School Day, and it was wonderful to see so many students and families participating. Events like these remind us how fun and healthy it can be to get to school on time together!
Family Tips for a Smooth Morning:
-
Set out backpacks, lunches, and clothes the night before.
-
Aim to arrive 5–10 minutes earlier than you think you need to.
-
Create a consistent morning routine so students know what to expect.
-
If driving, allow a little extra time for traffic or parking.
Together, we can help every Falcon soar by starting the day on time and ready to learn!
Be well,
Amy O'Hehir
