Have You Noticed?

Our WKE family is stronger together? We are facing many unknowns. We thank you in advance for traveling this road with us understanding that we don't have all the answers, but are looking for them. Grace for all.

What's Buzzing What's Buzzing

Staff Dress Code - Per Dr. Little

We are going to allow jeans five days a week because they are easily washable and can stand up to multiple washes per week in hot water. For your admin teams / central services, please continue to wear business casual unless the day is designated as a spirit / jeans day.

Human Resources - Returning To Campus

Please click on the video below from Human Resources. The forms that are referenced in the video will be in the red folders with your LEAP Time Sheets, per the email from Amanda Ryan earlier to day. All forms must be returned Monday. If you have any questions, let us know.

Special Education - Per Dr. Balough

SpEd Teachers should not be making schedules at this time.

  • Some schools are still sorting kids and assigning teachers to AA/BB or Virtual teachers
  • SpEd teachers don't have caseloads or class rosters(If you have them, they may not be accurate or finalized. Students are still bemoved at this time.)
  • Parents have not been informed that there will be updates required to IEPs because of track selection
  • Scheduling SpEd students will be COMPLETELY different from anything they have ever done, so they don't know what to do, yet
  • Schedules for student services and "lesson sessions" CANNOT be scheduled until assigned teachers have copies of resource student schedules.

SpEd is getting training ready to deploy early next week to cover everything! Please wait for further directions from the SpEd Team before moving forward with trying to schedule student services!
