Julian and Jayden - Shout out to the twins! They attended their very first Summer Thunder Invitational and they did so well. Dropping an insane amount of time and achieving PR's in freestyle and breaststroke. Jayden did so well even with his goggles falling off! They work hard at practice and those efforts are showing in our meets. Congrats Jayden and Julian!

Izabella - Shout out to Iza, also for her performance at Summer Thunder! She swam ALL 6 events and dropped 1 to 4 seconds on 5 of those events. That takes some serious focus and determination to achieve that much dropped time after swimming three days worth of swim meets. Congrats Iza!

Bring your own drinks and chairs. The kids will be decorating cars and posters for future meets, bring supplies (markers, car makers, poster board, etc.) to participate.

We have Divisionals coming up on June 14th. This is a special kind of meet where all the teams we swam against this season face off in one big meet. There are different rules and certain entry requirements that coaches must abide by at Divisionals. Unfortunately, this means that your swimmer might be missing some of the races they usually swim.

1) Only A relays can be entered (meaning one relay per age group). This will affect B relays for the 7-8 girls and 11-12 girls.

2) Swimmers can only be entered into events that they have official times for. Official time means that they swam at a duel meet with no disqualification. (Green and Black meet times DO NOT count.)

3) All official times must also be under 2 minutes.

4) Swimmers must have attended and swam at two regular duel meets this season to be entered into the meet.

5) There will be extra mixed relays per age group with 2 boys and 2 girls. This means some swimmers could have up to 6 races total. 3 individual and 3 relays.

TLDR: Your swimmer needs to have swam at two meets & they need timed race that wasn't DQed or from Green & Black, in order to swim at Divisionals. Please reach out to the coaches if you are unsure about your swimmer.

End of the year invitationals are special NWAL meets that invite swimmers to attend based on time standards. These meets take place the weekend after Divisionals. Teams from all over the Houston area participate making it a really cool experience! Our team will be participating in Allstars and Ponderosa this year. For those of you familiar with RWB (red,white, and blue) don't worry! Allstars and RWB have the exact same time standards this year! The second meet listed, Ponderosa, is the fastest and most prestigious meet in the land! Qualifiers are listed below and make sure to congratulate these swimmers when you see them! If your swimmer hasn't qualified yet, they still have the forest cove meet and divisionals to meet time standards.

Please text Coach Marissa (832) 226-3011 photos that you take of our kiddos during this swim season! These will be compiled into a slideshow for the end of the end of the year team party! We specifically like to include pictures that feature multiple swimmers, big and little buddy photos, silly photos! They can be pictures from meets, pasta nights, practice, invitationals, etc.!

Starting time is approximate based on when the meet finishes and when coaches arrive with ribbons.
