Yellow Team Weekly Update

Students have started their blog and should be writing away. Each week we are asking students to complete 3 (proficient) or more (advanced) blogs per week.

This week we will be looking at how they can better use language to show and not tell.

Have your child share their blog with you so that you can see what they have been up to!

Students should be reading 15 minutes a day.

In science this week students reflected on their body system research by comparing it to the research of other students. After reflecting on their own learning students explored the major body function research done by other students. They looked at posters created by classmates to learn about how organ systems work together to accomplish major body tasks.

Next week students will begin learning about how plants reproduce and how other organisms may assist in this process.
