Marvelous Musicians

Our WHS musicians had an amazing week! On Tuesday, we celebrated making modern music with our Guitar Ensembles and our Modern Music Ensemble, directed by Mr. Klein. On Wednesday, Ms. Byham led the WHS Orchestra in an amazing performance that brought everyone to their feet. Viva la Musica!

CoLAB CLUB

Students in our CoLAB Club had the opportunity to perform a laboratory experiment outside of their regularly scheduled science class. Scientists from various local life science companies joined students to assist with the lab and network with the students. Check out their video here! The final meeting of the year is next Thursday, May 30th at 3:30 PM in room 106A. All students are welcome!

ANNOUNCEMENTS ANNOUNCEMENTS

SENIORS (and a note about "skip days")

Seniors have a busy next two weeks, please continue reading for important reminders

Reminders:

  1. There are NO sanctioned "skip days" at WHS (for ANY grade level). Student-organized “skip days” undermine the educational process. The school will not accept parental excuses to participate in “skip days''. Students involved will receive an unexcused absence, which could result in credit loss.
  2. Permission slips for the All Night Party, hosted by the PTSO after Graduation on June 7th, are here! Tickets are $20 and are available in the main office with Ms. Tracy. The deadline to hand these in is June 7th. Please see this link for the Permission Slip and ANP Information.

Senior Week(s) Events:

  1. REVIEW ALL SENIOR WEEK EVENTS HERE!
  2. All Night Party: We are seeking volunteers to help chaperone our ANP!! Please review the opportunities and sign up here.
  3. The Senior Farewell Event (new this year!) is seeking donations of: beverages, plastic silverware, and paper plates/cups!
