MEET AND GREET
On Tuesday, August 11th, we will hold our Meet and Greet. This is a chance for families to meet their teacher, tour the school, drop off supplies, and learn about the new school building.
As many of you may know, in just a few weeks, a brand-new Lake Hazel Elementary building will begin to be built on the grass field behind our school. This summer, I spent many hours working with district administration, architects, builders, and others to support the planning for the new building.
Schedule for August 11th:
- 3:00–3:30: New building presentation in the cafeteria. The builder and architect will present the site plan and be available for questions.
- 3:30–4:15: Families may visit classrooms.
You are also welcome to visit classrooms from 3:00–3:30. However, if you would like to attend the new building presentation, please plan to be in the cafeteria at 3:00.
We look forward to seeing you on August 11th.
