Message from Principals

The new year is here! We hope everyone had a wonderful winter break. We are eager to welcome students back to school and begin our second semester. Report cards go home on Monday, January 12th, and we will be celebrating our students' academic progress at our awards and spirit assembly on Wednesday, January 21st. Students will be off school on Monday, January 19th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and we will celebrate the 100th Day of School on Thursday, January 22nd. Our 3rd and 4th graders will also take a field trip this month, and we will begin our next round of ATLAS testing. We're exited to see the goals our students set for themselves this year, and we're eager to help them accomplish those goals. Here's to a wonderful second semester and a great 2026!

Student Check In & Check Out Procedures

The school day begins at 7:45am. Students who arrive after 7:45am should be checked in by an adult in the front office. If you need to change the way your child is going home, please contact your child's teacher or call the office by 2pm. Also, please note that if you are checking out your student, students will not be called to the office until a parent is in the office to pick them up so students are in class for instruction for as long as possible.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 19th in observance of Luther King Jr. Day. School will resume on Tuesday, January 20th.

Winter Weather Recess Attire

Winter weather has arrived! Please be sure to send students to school with a coat {labeled with their name} each day during the winter months. When possible, students will go outside for recess, following our state recess weather guidelines. We want to be sure students are able to play outside when possible while still staying warm!

Inclement Weather

If there is inclement weather, please check the Springdale Public Schools Facebook page and the local news for information about school closures. As a general rule, we do not post if we are having school, only if the school will be closed. Also, please note that four student catch-up days are built into our school calendar, so if we have any snow days, the first four will not be required to be made up at the end of the school year.

Dress Code Reminders

As the weather is changing and students are growing, please be mindful of the following school dress code items:

Distressed jeans should not have holes or rips above fingertip length.
Shirts should be long enough so the midriff is not showing.
Pajama pants should be worn on pajama days only.
