Digital Learning Day Chromebook Requests for students in grades K-2
Digital Learning Day
Our third scheduled Digital Learning Day is Friday, March 14. Students in grades 3-5 will bring home their Chromebooks as normal. We are able to send home a Chromebook for your student in Grades K-2 to use for the DLD if needed. Parents for students in grades K-2, please complete this form if you would like us to send home a Chromebook for your child to use for the Digital Learning Day. These Chromebooks will be sent home Thursday afternoon and we request that students bring them back to school on Monday, March 17. Please note the fees for lost or damaged Chromebooks below.
We have created a Digital Learning Day help guide for parents that has LOTS of information to help your DLD run smoothly! Please check it out here!

Books which are lost or damaged will incur a fine, usually $15 per book. Please encourage your student to put their library book in their backpack after they are finished reading, so that their books will be sure to make it back to school!

Cooking makes math and reading tasty fun
Cooking with you helps your child practice valuable skills such as reading, following directions and planning ahead. Have your child read each step in a recipe aloud. Then, ask questions like, "Which do I put in first, milk or flour?" You can also challenge your student to do the math of doubling a recipe, or to look up cooking terms in the dictionary: "What does mince mean?" Working with you to feed the family can also make your child feel useful and needed.
