Hello GW Families,

I would like to thank each of you for your support throughout August and September. September was a busy month as we navigated the first full week of school, established new routines, and participated in events like the First Day Shoe Fund. As we move into October, get ready for an action-packed month! Alongside the learning taking place at Greenwood, we have several opportunities for families to engage. Please take a moment to review the flyers below.

I look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Walk With Purpose Spirit Day Kickoff

Wednesday, October 1st Greenwood will kick off our Walk With Purpose fundraiser, in support of Communities In Schools Kalamazoo, with athletic day and laps at recess. Any donation is appreciated. Here are a few reasons to give: 13,237 food packs, 4,322 professional counseling sessions, 527 students visited the Mobile Health Clinic, 11,345 hours of support were provided by 400 volunteers, 22,589 items of clothing, personal hygiene products, and basic school supplies were distributed to address students' basic needs.

If that wasn't enough motivation to donate, the class or individual with the most funds raised will have the opportunity to be pied or pie Mrs. Sikaundi at our November AAA Assembly.
