SMS STUDENTS LEARN “SWEET” MATH LESSONS
The SMS Guardians M/I classes recently learned how to convert data and create bar graphs. After a week of practice, the students had some fun with M&Ms - by graphing the colors they had in each of their own bags! They did an amazing job following the directions and creating their graphs. And of course, got to enjoy some chocolate, too!
FAMILIES ENJOY “LITERACY ON THE LAWN” AT SURRARRER ELEMENTARY
Surrarrer families celebrated a beautiful evening this week with a “Literacy on the Lawn” event. Surrarrer families, students, teachers, and staff listened to books read by celebrity guest readers - Strongsville Fire Chief Jack Draves; Strongsville Police Officers Rick Anthony and Aaron Plut; and Strongsville Librarian Janice Krusoczky. Special thanks to Surrarrer PTA and the Cleveland Book Bank for their book donations for all who attended, to Strongsville Wal-Mart for donating free school supplies distributed at the event, and to Raising Cane's for providing gift bags everyone received following the event. Click HERE for a folder of pictures from this awesome event!

“I love working with our ‘Mini Mustangs’ because I get to watch them grow through multiple years at Preschool. It is exciting to watch them learn new skills at a young age. I love getting involved and planning fun, educational activities and events for students, families, and our Preschool staff.”
Thank you ‘Miss Ally’ for helping to build a solid foundation for our Mini Mustangs, and preparing them for kindergarten and beyond! #ModelMustang
