📣 Families! Here's What's Happening Next Week for PAWS
After a wonderful September practicing Kindness, our Bobcats have moved on to the S in PAWS: Show Respect.
We define respect for students as treating everyone fairly and politely, listening to others, and showing we value different ideas and people. Each morning, our Grade 6 PAWS Leaders share a Respect message and a daily challenge over the announcements, and students can earn Paw Prints for their class when a staff member catches them being respectful.
Next week (October 5–9) focuses on Respect in the Classroom: listening while others speak, following directions the first time, respecting substitute teachers and guests, choosing respectful words, and remembering that respect goes both ways. You can support this at home by asking your child about the day's Respect Challenge and practicing "please," "thank you," and respectful disagreement around the dinner table. We are proud of the job our 6th Grade PAWS leaders did this week. A Special 📣 "SHOUT OUT" 📣 to Alicia Bocchino and Grady Smith. They did a fantastic job on morning announcements and leading the way!
