LPES Virtual Backpack #11
October 23, 2026
From the Principal's Desk
Dear Families,
This week, we have been continuing to focus on being proactive and understanding that we all have a choice about our attitude each day.
We discussed how being proactive means looking for ways to help others without waiting to be asked. At school, this can look like coming prepared, paying attention, asking questions, doing our best, and offering help when we notice someone who needs it.
We also talked about friendships and how they arenβt always easy. Sometimes disagreements, hurt feelings, and misunderstandings happen. Being proactive means taking responsibility, communicating respectfully, and looking for ways to solve problems rather than waiting for someone else to fix them.
We are excited to celebrate Halloween on Thursday, October 29th! Please remember that there will be no school on Friday, October 30th.
We hope you and your family enjoy the warm weekend!
Thank you for your continued support.
Warmly,
Emily Varghese
Principal
