Attention parents of 4th and 5th grade students! Is your child interested in participating in the District Speech Tournament? The deadline for the application to participate is on January 15. If your child is interested and would like to participate, please complete the application form linked below in the Student Packet. In addition, the information which was shared at our informational meeting is linked there, too.

The Speech Tournament is a great way for students to practice public speaking and also to make great memories with their friends!

Attention Fifth Grade Parents:

If your child is interested in participating in Extended Art as a middle school student, the application window is now open! Please read the attached letter, which also includes a link to the application packet.

All questions regarding Extended Art should be directed to Ms. Luby at mluby@barrington220.org.

Parents-If you are able to volunteer an hour or 2 to help sell basketball concessions at our HOME basketball games come January, please consider signing up HERE! All money raised from sales will be donated to Feed My Starving Children by our lovely 5th grade class! Thank you for your help. Go Bulldogs!!

If you have a rising kindergartener, you must fill out this form prior to February 2nd to begin the process and plan on joining us at one of the dates below!

Thursday 2/5 - Spanish Dual Language at Lines Elementary

Tuesday 2/10 - K-Lab (Kindergarten Lab) at BHS

Have a ton of too-small Roslyn gear laying around? Looking for some spiritwear and love a great deal? Announcing our new clothing swap! Donate gently-used Roslyn and Barrington gear in the bin in the school foyer or at the Family Dance on 11/14. Then, shop pre-loved items at the Talent Show or other Roslyn events. We love a great opportunity to reuse and show our Bulldog spirit!

Cricket is an internationally acclaimed sport and affects our next generation of children as they are learning to look for commonalities in their peers. Join us at the Barrington Area Library to discuss the book Born Extraordinary: Empowering Children with Differences and Disabilities by Meg Zucker

Family Engagement Session – Thursday, February 5th 6:00-8:00 pm
Suzanne Aaron from The Arc of Illinois will be presenting “Benefits and Preparing for your Child’s Transition to Adulthood.” This presentation is tailored to address planning for those with higher support needs as your child ages out of school. RSVP required by Jan 20. The session will be held at the district office.

SEPAC Leadership Team Meeting –Thursday, February 12th 6:00-8:00 pm
SEPAC will host its monthly business meeting at the Barrington Area Library. This meeting is open to the public.
